The Bottisham airfield Museum group was formed in 2009 with a view to starting a museum that would commemorate the history of the airfield, the units that served their and the interaction between the airfield and the local inhabitants.

The use of a building on Site 4 of the old wartime Airfield was secured with kind support of Geoffrey Wooster.

The building has been extensively refurbished and the opening was held in October 2010. Over 200 people attended the event, which included 17 military vehicles, 2 full-size aircraft displaying and a calvalcade of military vehicles around the airfield.

The museum moved in April 2012 to the Royal British Legion in Bottisham.

For more details please visit the museum's website.
