82 association members and guests attended last year’s 361st Fighter Group Reunion in Arizona and we are indebted to Mrs Margot Stryker for this selection of excellent photographs showing some of those who attended and the places they visited.

On the 15th, Group members visited the Pima Air & Space Museum situated on the outskirts of Tucson.

Group members also visited the nearby Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, home of the 12th Air Force and 355th Wing.

The visit to Davis-Monthan included a tour of the AMARC’s mothball fleet, preserved in open-air storage. Line-up included an F-14, F-100, F-106 and an F-101.

The morning of Tuesday, October 16th found members of the Group gathering at the entrance of the Doubletree Hotel, ready to depart by coach for a day trip down south to Nogales, Mexico.

En route to Nogales, the Group visited the Mission San Xavier del Bac, which has been recognised as the finest example of mission architecture in the United States.

On October 17th, the Group visited the University of Arizona to view the New Large Binocular Telescope Project.
